PROJECT.30 - DAY 27

The Silent Vlog – Documenting the In Between

Today I tried filming a silent vlog.

No talking. Just documenting what the day looked like.

It Started With Cleaning

I started by cleaning up the living room. Not because it had to be perfect, but because space affects how you create.

A cluttered room creates mental noise. A clear space makes room for ideas to breathe.

It’s not about aesthetics. It’s about removing friction.

Then a Friend Came Over

Then a friend came over and we recorded a podcast.

Moments like that always remind me that creativity isn’t always a solo thing. Sometimes the best ideas come from conversation.

From pushing each other’s thinking. From challenging assumptions. From laughing at something ridiculous and then realizing it might actually work.

Collaboration sharpens thinking in ways isolation can’t.

Now the Day Is Ending

The day is ending the way most creative days do. Quietly editing.

Reviewing footage. Making cuts. Adjusting timing. Trying to shape raw material into something that communicates clearly.

This part is less glamorous. Less photogenic. But it’s where the real work happens.

What I Realized While Filming Today

A lot of the creative process happens in between the big moments.

Cleaning the room. Setting up equipment. Sitting down to review footage.

Those small moments are part of the story too.

And sometimes they’re worth documenting.

Not because they’re dramatic. But because they’re real.

They remind us that creative work isn’t just the final output. It’s the preparation. The conversations. The quiet hours spent refining.

It’s everything in between.

Day 27: done.

See you tomorrow for Day 28.
